With the easing of all restrictions we’re pleased to confirm that the Colwick Car Boot Market will return on Sunday 1 August.
We will be operating differently to keep people safe and you can find out more at Colwick Car Boot.

National lockdown – from Thursday 5 November
All our indoor and outdoor markets are open for essentials only, including food and drink and household goods.
Access to the Victoria Centre and the Victoria Centre Market will be via Cairn Street, Glasshouse Street and Milton Street. The main entrance to the Victoria Centre will be closed. Shoppers can access the Market via the escalators near JD Sports.
Opening hours will remain the same at all markets.
Cafés and street food traders will be operating a takeaway service only.
A ‘Click & Collect’ service may be possible – check with individual traders for more information.
Tier 3 restrictions
All our indoor and outdoor markets remain open for business, but Colwick Car Boot will remain closed.
Victoria Centre Market
New opening times: 9am–5pm
Cafes and food stalls will be open from Friday 10 July, with a few changes:
- All cafes are table service only.
- ‘Track and Trace’ is in place. Staff will ask for basic details as required, but these will be destroyed when no longer required.
- Where tables cannot be removed, please adhere to the signage if it states not to sit at a certain table.
- Customer toilets will also be open, but will operate on a one-in-one-out system, so please be patient when queuing. Other toilets are available in Victoria Centre.
Bulwell Market
New opening times: 9am–4pm
Bulwell Market is now open for non-essential retail. For everyone’s safety, we have introduced a one way system. You may have to queue to get in, but it’ll be worth the wait! Arrows are in place to help guide you around the market, and there will also be security colleagues to let you know when you can enter. Sanitation stations are available onsite for you to wash your hands. Please follow government advice and remain two metres apart while shopping. If you are unwell, please stay home.
Hyson Green Market
New opening times: 9am–1pm
Hyson Green Market is now open for non-essential retail. Changes to Hyson Green are identical to the changes at Bulwell Market above.
Clifton Market
New opening times: 9am–4pm
Clifton Market is now open for non-essential retail. In order to accommodate the local businesses and community, cones will be placed outside stalls to show you where to queue, and security will be monitoring these queues. Please don’t be offended if you are asked to leave a queue and rejoin later – this is in a bid to avoid overcrowding. Sanitation stations are available onsite for you to wash your hands. Please follow government advice and remain two metres apart while shopping. If you are unwell, please stay home.
