I sell kids’ clothes, fashion, jewellery and accessories.
I’m a designer by profession, and I’ve also been a carer for people with learning difficulties. I started running my own market stall to showcase some of my designs and get them out into the world!
I also want to train and inspire people and eventually open a workshop – at the moment I have jobseekers visit me to learn skills.
For me, trading on the market is all about meeting customers and making people happy. My African clothing, handbags and children’s clothes seem to be my most popular products – and my regulars come back for my accessories!
Once someone came to me with some trousers they’d bought from another shop – they were asking if I could take them back cos they were just too long. I explained I wasn’t the original seller, but took the trousers up anyway… the customer went away happy!
